Chickenvsweek

It’s just been an unpleasant week, culminating in the exciting events described in the last entry. I have some hopefully-more-amusing comics planned for the rest of the holiday week… but I’ll get started on them after I lie down for a day or two.

I didn’t come up with the bad pun

Car kena keyed on Thursday, backed into a new Lexus on Friday. Talk about bad car-ma. I really should just hide in my room for the rest of the week…

Sleepy beyond reason

Friday, March 3rd, 2006

It’s been an awfully long two weeks. Practicum is going fine so far, but I’m still getting used to waking up at 6 in the morning, and my head’s beginning to hurt from a couple of distractions (not work-related, though I could also categorise work as one humongous distraction from precious sleep).

I’ve made my decision on where to teach, though, after a spot of last-minute interviewing at both schools I was considering — I’ll be staying put to teach computing in the practicum school, and I’ve signed the two-year secondment form and all. Now I just have to hope MOE agrees to the request and I can start deluding myself into believing I made the right decision. I’m exceptionally good at self-delusion.
